South Coast Coaching Limited – Terms and Conditions (29-01-2013)
Before booking an instructor you should read and understood these Terms and Conditions.
By booking an instructor you agree to these Terms and Conditions. These Terms and Conditions are subject to change.
Booking and Payment
When you book an instructor and you receive confirmation either by phone, email or post you are then bound by these Terms and Conditions. We charge a daily rate dependent on the qualification of the instructor that you book. At the end of the course the instructor will submit an invoice on behalf of South Coast Coaching Ltd and payment is due within 14 days after presentation of the invoice. There is no deposit required for booking an instructor. Payment is by bank transfer, cash or cheque we cannot accept card payments. Our rates are as follows:
Sail
Dinghy Instructor - £75 per day
Dinghy Instructor with Advanced, Keelboat, Multihull or Racing endorsements - £85 per day
Senior Instructor - £100 per day
Commercial Day Skippers - £80 per day
Powerboat and Safety Boat Instructors: £90 per day
Power
Powerboat and Safety Boat Instructors - £90 per day
Advanced Powerboat Instructor - £110 per day
Commercial Skipper (Powerboat Level 2) - £90 per day
Personal Watercraft Instructor - £80 per day
Windsurf
Windsurfing Instructor - £75 per day
Senior Windsurfing Instructor - £100 per day
Shorebased
SRC Assessors and First Aid Instructors: £90 per day
Additional Charges
We will do our best to find an instructor within 10 miles of your club/centre if this is not possible we charge an additional 30 pence per mile (unless informed otherwise) travelled and where required we will discuss accommodation arrangements.
In the event of a payment not being received during the 14 days then a 5% charge will be added. If the payment is not received within 28 days of receiving the invoice a further 5% will be added. For example on £100 – not received in 14 days = £105 and not received in 28 days = £110.25.
Billing
We charge a daily rate for our services which is dependent on the instructor supplied and the course that they are running. Invoices will be submitted at the end of a course if it is the only course that month otherwise invoices will be submitted at the end of the last course of the month.
Bank Transfer
Fees should be transferred to bank account with account number: 37865889 and sort code: 56-00- 68.
Payment by Cash
Cash payments can only be collected in person.
Payment by Cheque
Cheques should be made payable to South Coast Coaching Ltd and can collected in person or can be sent to 1 Vosper Road, Woolston, Southampton, SO19 9SS.
Cancellation Policy
In the event of a club or training centre cancelling a booking South Coast Coaching Ltd has the following cancellation policy in place. The charges are as follows:
Peak Season (April – October)
More than 4 weeks – 15%
2- 4 weeks – 25%
7-14 days – 50%
7 days or less – 75% Less than 24 hours – 100%
Off Season (November – March)
More than 4 weeks – 20%
2- 4 weeks – 30%
7-14 days – 50%
7 days or less – 100%
Less than 24 hours – 100%
If a course is cancelled then you are free to use the instructor for another course or for any other jobs around you club or centre at the agreed rate.
